Incarna Documentation
Your agent has a mind and a wallet. Incarna gives it a body.
An agent that can reason and pay still cannot be anywhere. It has no inbox that receives, no handle that persists, no device or place it comes from. Incarna supplies those and keeps them consistent, so the identity holds up when something checks it — mail that lands instead of bouncing, a handle that is still there next month, an account with a history of its own.

MCP https://api.incarna.io/mcp
REST https://api.incarna.io
Two ways to use it
In an agent you already have. Incarna is an MCP server over HTTP. Point Claude Code, Codex, Hermes, OpenClaw, Franklin — or anything else that speaks MCP — at one URL with your API key, and twenty-three tools appear. Your agent makes bodies, gives them inboxes, binds accounts their owners already have, and acts through them. This is the main way in: Use it in your agent.
In the browser, with no integration at all. Sign in at incarna.io/console and tell an agent what to do. No key, nothing to install, and the panel beside the conversation shows what the system recorded rather than what the agent claims. The Console.
Start with whichever answers your question faster. They are the same capabilities.
Two programmatic surfaces
REST, with an API key — for a backend that holds the key while its own users never see it. Start at the Quickstart; everything is in the REST reference.
x402, pay-per-call — no plan and no billing relationship set up in advance. The
endpoint answers 402 with signable terms, the caller pays, the action runs. This is
the door for an agent that holds a wallet and settles its own costs. See
x402.
Every page here is also served as Markdown at its own URL plus .md, and the whole
set is at llms.txt and llms-full.txt — this is
documentation agents are expected to read directly.
What it is not
Incarna operates identities its customers own or provision. It does not manufacture proof of personhood — no government ID, no biometrics, nothing that asserts a human where there is none. An agent's body is a real, consistent presence on the network; it is not a claim to be a person.
We also do not write anything an identity says. send_email takes a body;
post_tweet takes text. The mind belongs to your agent. Incarna decides what the
identity is, never what it says.
